How to Find Coming Soon Listings

Listings are becoming more scarce in the Lake Tahoe and Truckee real estate market. A listing that becomes ACTIVE in the MLS often receives multiple offers on the day it is listed. This presents a challenge for buyers who are using the internet to find available listings.

Now, more than ever, it is important to work with a realtor who can access information about listings before they hit the market.

Usually when listings are available for sale and ACTIVE, each local MLS automatically feeds the listing information into many internet sites. This includes all agent websites, Zillow, Redfin, and Realtor.com.

However, the Coming Soon status is limited to the Board of Realtor’s agent intranet site. This means that these ‘Coming Soon’ listings are not fed out into the internet.
