Lakefront Market Report

During the First Quarter of 2021, the median price for a North Shore lakefront was just over $4 million, compared to $7.6 million for January to March in 2020. Only one lakefront sold during this period last year, while 2 lakefronts sold during Jan to March 2021. There are a few lakeview listings on the North Shore that border on being called lakefront properties.

On the West Shore, a total of 3 lakefront properties sold in the First Quarter of 2021, compared to only 1 during the same period last year. In addition to the two luxurious lakefronts listed above, there are a few exquisite properties in lakefront neighborhoods.

The market at Lake Tahoe has experienced unprecedented sales activity. While lakefront sales were slow to catch up with the hot market, we are currently seeing the same rising demand.
